According to recent findings by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), chocolate bars marketed as “microdosing” options aimed at providing users with a sense of calm are causing a surge in hospital admissions.

The FDA released their initial advisory notice on June 7th regarding Diamond Shruumz, a company known for producing “microdosing” chocolate bars and gummies. The products were linked to six individuals who were hospitalized after consuming them.

According to the latest update from the FDA, the consumption of Diamond Shruumz-Brand Microdosing Chocolate Bars has resulted in the hospitalization of ten individuals. Additionally, two people have sought medical attention but did not require hospitalization. The FDA has explicitly advised against the eating, selling, or serving of these chocolate bars, as stated on their website.

The FDA is currently investigating the root cause of these illnesses and is carefully considering what actions to take next. As more information becomes available, updates will be provided.

Nationwide availability of the products has been reported. As per the FDA website, Alabama, Kentucky, Missouri, Nevada, South Carolina, and Pennsylvania have recorded hospitalizations due to consumption of these items. Additionally, Arizona has reported four hospitalizations and Indiana has reported two.

Officials have reported that individuals who consumed the “microdosing” products experienced severe symptoms.

The Food and Drug Administration has reported that individuals who consumed Diamond Shruumz-brand Microdosing Chocolate Bars and fell ill experienced a range of severe symptoms. These symptoms included seizures, confusion, sleepiness, abnormal heart rates, hyper/hypotension, nausea, vomiting, and agitation.

People who use hallucinogenic drugs sometimes engage in a practice known as “microdosing,” wherein they consume a small amount of the substance to enhance their mood and creativity without experiencing a full-blown psychedelic trip. Diamond Shruumz markets its products as a form of microdosing, but the company insists that its products do not contain any psilocybin.

Diamond Shruumz’s website assures the absence of psilocybin, amanita, or any scheduled drugs in their treats, guaranteeing a safe and enjoyable experience. They emphasize that their carefully crafted ingredients still provide an experience, despite being free from psychedelic substances.

Indulge in a blend that’s uniquely crafted for your pleasure and peace of mind. The FDA and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention are currently investigating these products. Despite reaching out to Diamond Shruumz for comment, Fox News Digital did not receive a response.
