An Indiana judge recently made a significant legal ruling by dismissing the $31 million lawsuit filed by Dejaune Anderson against a court official. Anderson had accused the official of violating her due process rights during her ongoing legal conflicts. However, the judge ruled in favor of the official and dismissed the lawsuit.

  • 3 The Verdict

On March 15, Dejaune Anderson, 38, was arrested in Arcadia, California, on charges related to the death of her son, Cairo Ammar Jordan. The charges against her include murder, neglect of a dependent resulting in death, and obstruction of justice. In April 2022, Cairo Ammar Jordan’s body was discovered by a mushroom hunter inside a suitcase discarded in the woods. An autopsy determined that the boy had died from dehydration caused by an electrolyte imbalance triggered by vomiting and diarrhea.

The Ongoing Legal Battle

In Washington Circuit Court, Dejaune Anderson has submitted ten fresh motions seeking several actions, including the dismissal of her trial on various grounds. She has further requested Judge Larson to close the case, declare extraordinary circumstances, and dismiss charges for violating her due process rights.

The Verdict

The lawsuit filed by Anderson was ultimately rejected by the Indiana judge, indicating a firm stance from the judicial system against her claims.
