A man in Texas has been arrested for assaulting a former colleague. Here’s what we know so far.

According to The Caller Times, the incident occurred at 6:03 PM when the Corpus Christi police were notified about an incident at the 5700 block of Everhart Road. Law enforcement discovered a 35-year-old victim at the scene, who has not been identified yet.

The victim, whose wounds were deemed life-threatening, was swiftly taken to a nearby medical center for treatment. Concurrently, authorities initiated their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the attack. Initially, it was revealed that the victim had recently been terminated from the popular restaurant, Popeye’s.

Victim’s Actions After Being Let Go From Their Job

According to the Caller Times, the victim returned to the eatery multiple times throughout the day, confronting current employees and even making threats. The workers at Popeye’s tried to call the police to report the victim’s behavior, but unfortunately, the victim left before they could arrive.

53-year-old Margarito Cisneros, who harmed the victim, has been apprehended and is now facing a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. The investigation is currently ongoing regarding this case.
