President Joe Biden  stated on Wednesday evening in response to Vice President Kamala Harris’ election defeat.

In response to Harris’ first public remarks after her loss, which she delivered at Howard University, Biden expressed his admiration for the Kamala Harris he knows. He stated, “What America witnessed today was the Kamala Harris I deeply appreciate.”

In a remarkable political comeback, President-elect Donald Trump reclaimed the White House early Wednesday morning. Trump emerged victorious by securing the key battleground states of North Carolina, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin. His triumph effectively thwarted Harris’ chances of reaching the White House through the traditionally Democratic stronghold of the “blue wall” states.

Joe Biden emphasized that choosing Kamala Harris as his running mate was his first and most important decision after becoming the Democratic nominee for president in 2020. He firmly believes that it was the right choice and that Harris’s story embodies the essence of the American dream.

Biden expressed his confidence in her ability to contribute to the ongoing narrative of success and progress for the nation.

In her speech at Howard University, Harris emphasized the need for America to acknowledge and respect the outcome of the election. She recounted her conversation with Trump earlier that day, where she underscored the significance of a smooth and peaceful transfer of power.

“The result of this election is not what we desired, not what we fought for, but let me make it clear: the promise of America will always shine brightly,” Harris expressed on X (formerly Twitter).

In his acceptance speech, Trump celebrated a momentous victory, hailing it as a landmark achievement for his political movement while making a promise to tackle crucial national matters. He expressed deep appreciation for his supporters and pledged to revive America’s glorious era by enhancing border security, implementing effective economic policies, and promoting unity among its citizens.

Trump also acknowledged triumphs in pivotal states and the Senate, crediting the accomplishments to the strength of the “MAGA movement.” Additionally, he commended notable figures and allies, such as JD Vance, who lauded Trump’s exceptional leadership abilities.

During a hurricane relief effort, Trump expressed his admiration for Elon Musk’s accomplishments, specifically highlighting Starlink. He also commended Dana White from the UFC for his unwavering resilience.

In his closing remarks, Trump emphasized the importance of unity and reiterated his commitment to revitalizing America to become “safe, strong, prosperous, powerful, and free” once again. He pledged to govern with the principle of “Promises made, promises kept.” Encouraging citizens to prioritize their nation, Trump urged them to stand together and envision a future that is “bigger, better, bolder, richer, safer, and stronger than ever.”
