A man from Kansas has created a politically motivated piece of artwork that draws inspiration from agriculture as a tribute to Vice President Kamala Harris.

Kansas-based artist and owner of Stan Herd Arts, Stan Herd, has recently unveiled a stunning mural of Vice President Kamala Harris in a field in Lawrence, Kansas. The artwork has been created by Herd, who is also a contributor with Earthworks, and is garnering a lot of attention as Harris is currently running for the presidency on the Democratic ticket.

Explaining the rationale behind the portrait, Herd stated that he has always been a political progressive and firmly believes that women should hold leadership positions not only in the United States but also globally.

According to Herd, he has created other artworks in the past that are related to the vice president. This includes a portrait of her as well as one of Biden during their election four years ago.

In a field in Lawrence, Kansas, Stan Herd of Earthworks has crafted a portrait of Vice President Kamala Harris. The impressive artwork showcases Herd’s talent and skill in creating stunning outdoor masterpieces. The portrait is a true testament to Herd’s dedication to his craft and his ability to create beautiful works of art on a grand scale. The image of Vice President Harris is a wonderful addition to Herd’s portfolio and a source of inspiration for many who view it.

Herd expressed that she had crafted a portrait of Kamala Harris in the past, when she was still a Vice Presidential candidate, with the hope that Biden would follow through on his commitment to pave the way for the next generation.

According to Herd, he spent 12 days crafting the portrait and utilized 25 yards of mulch. He also mentioned that the portrait was made entirely from the Earth’s natural resources.

Herd expressed her excitement about being part of this initiative and traveling across the country. “I hope that this effort makes a positive impact and reaches a wide range of people,” she said.

A photo of a Trump flag has been added to the collection of images that symbolize American resolve and unity, transcending political differences.

During the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Leaders’ Week in San Francisco on November 16, 2023, Vice President Kamala Harris addressed the Women’s Economic Participation in the Industries of the Future meeting. Her remarks were delivered with great poise and eloquence, underscoring the importance of women’s involvement in shaping the future of various industries. Frederic J. Brown captured the moment beautifully in a photograph published by AFP via Getty Images.

Herd shared that she initially planned to work on a Gretchen Whitmer feature and had even begun to sketch out the image. However, recent events prompted her to hold off and add a question mark to the piece. She explained that as soon as the decision is made by either Whitmer or the party on who the next VP will be, they will work diligently to create an accurate portrait as quickly as possible.

During the George Floyd protests, Kamala Harris’ support for a bail fund has weakened Donald Trump’s campaign pitch of portraying her as a “prosecutor”.

At a campaign rally held at West Allis Central High School on July 23, 2024, Vice President Kamala Harris addressed her supporters. The event was held in West Allis, Wisconsin, and was captured by Jim Vondruska, a Stringer.

Herd acknowledges the potential for retaliation in response to his work and sees it as another chapter in his story if it were to occur.

Herd expressed his desire to bring down the political temperature, which may not happen in the next four months, but he hopes it will happen when the situation comes to a conclusion.
