The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division charged a Richland County man with insurance fraud.
An agent charged Christopher Gadson, 34, with six counts of fraudulent insurance applications on Monday.
The South Carolina Department of Insurance requested that SLED conduct an investigation.
According to arrest warrants, Gadson is accused of submitting a life insurance application using false information with the purpose of defrauding the company six times.
He was taken into Lexington County Detention Center, and the South Carolina Department of Insurance will pursue the matter.
