According to recent reports, an individual from West Virginia has emerged as the lucky winner of Ohio’s Rolling Cash 5 drawing, taking home an impressive sum of $140,001.

West Virginia resident Melvin Stubbs III has a lot to be excited about lately. On July 8, 2024, he was announced as the lucky winner of the $140,001 Rolling Cash 5 prize. The exciting news has left Stubbs feeling overjoyed and grateful for his unexpected windfall.

Stubbs made a spur-of-the-moment decision to buy a lottery ticket while spending quality time with his son on the day of the drawing.

“I simply crossed the bridge to play my usual numbers. Later in the night, upon checking, I saw that I had won,” he shared.

According to Stubbs, he was overjoyed upon learning that he had won the prize money of $140,000. He expressed his happiness by saying, “I was pretty happy about it. I couldn’t even sleep that night.”

Stubbs intends to utilize his prize money to provide financial assistance to his family.

He explained that he would try to save up the money to assist his wife since he had been unable to work for a few years.

Once taxes at both the state and federal levels are factored in, totaling 28 percent, Stubbs can expect to receive a net pay of $100,800.

Peoples News & Book Mart #4, situated at 412 Washington Blvd in Belpre, was where the lucky ticket was sold and declared the winner.

The numbers that emerged victorious in the latest Rolling Cash 5 drawing were 4-5-29-30-31. This Ohio-based daily draw game holds its drawings every day at 7:05 pm, giving players ample opportunities to try their luck and win big.
