Michigan Drivers Caught with 10 Pounds of Cocaine in Texas Police Bust

According to police reports, NCSO deputies stopped Desean Hyken Lee Williams, a 33-year-old resident of Flint, Michigan, in the 1700 block of S.W. Stallings Drive on Monday at around 8:50 p.m. The reason for the traffic stop was observed violations, and during the interaction, the officers detected the odor of marijuana.

Deputies conducted a traffic stop on Tuesday in the 1700 block of S.W. Stallings Drive due to a traffic violation. During the stop, they encountered Quinntez Maurice Banks, a 33-year-old resident of Clinton, Michigan, and Sasithorn Boohom, a 25-year-old resident of Brighton, Michigan.

During the search of the vehicle based on probable cause, the deputies discovered two packages containing narcotics. These packages were tested and confirmed to be cocaine. Along with the drugs, a significant sum of U.S. currency was also found. The total weight of the narcotics in the packages amounted to 4.7 lbs.

As of Wednesday afternoon, Banks and Boohom were still in custody. Banks had a bond set at $50,000, while Boohom’s bond was set at $40,000. On the other hand, Williams managed to post bond of $50,000 and was released on Tuesday afternoon.
