CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Mrs. Baird’s wants everyone in the Coastal Bend to wake up and “get that bread.” Literally!

For every loaf of Mrs. Baird’s Bread purchased in the area tomorrow, Mrs. Baird’s will donate a fresh loaf to the Coastal Bend Food Bank.

This one-day event is part of Mrs. Baird’s “Fighting Texas Hunger” program, which aims to provide nutritious meals to Texas families facing hunger this summer.

But that’s not the only way Mrs. Baird’s is giving back.

“Over the month of June, we have pledged 165,000 loaves of fresh bread to our food banks and the communities we serve, but 10,000 of those will stay right here in the Coastal Bend to help those in need in our Corpus Christi area.”

Mrs. Baird’s one-day giving event starts Monday across the Coastal Bend.

To participate, simply buy any Mrs. Baird’s bread product at any regional grocery store.

You can also scan the QR code on your screen to make a direct donation to the Coastal Bend Food Bank.
