According to a report by AZFamily, Tucson experienced an EF-1 tornado that was confirmed by the National Weather Service on Tuesday night.

According to weather service authorities, a tornado was observed at approximately 10:45 p.m. in the vicinity of Kolb and Valencia roads. The location is situated approximately 2 miles north of Interstate 10.

In the video captured from the area, numerous trees can be seen toppled on the ground, and a metal shipping container has been thrown off its original position.

As of Wednesday afternoon, no injuries had been reported.

With winds of up to 110 mph, the tornado was incredibly powerful.

Arizona seldom experiences tornadoes, as per the evaluation of state climatologists.

According to Arizona’s Family records, the state hasn’t experienced a tornado since November 2023, when an EF-1 tornado made its way through Star Valley, a community located northeast of Payson.

On October 6, 2010, northern Arizona witnessed an outbreak of at least 11 tornadoes in the early morning hours. The National Weather Service of Flagstaff reported that this was the most significant recorded tornado outbreak in the western region of the Continental Divide.
