According to police reports, a strip mall in the northwest side of Indianapolis was the site of a stabbing incident where nine individuals were injured in the early hours of Monday morning.

According to the Indianapolis Metro Police, a call was made at around 3:40 a.m. Monday about a person who had been stabbed in an area off 71st Street, just east of Interstate 465. Officers were immediately dispatched to the scene.

Located on the northwest side of Indy, Miami’s Garden restaurant and lounge greets its customers with an inviting exterior.

According to Ofc. William Young, a “disturbance” occurred between two groups of individuals outside the bar, resulting in the situation escalating into a stabbing.

Upon arrival, the police discovered that three individuals had suffered from stab wounds. The victims were immediately transported to nearby hospitals for medical attention, with two of them being in critical condition.

WIBC 93.1 FM reported that an arrest has been made after nine people were stabbed on Indy’s NW side.
