North Alabama Schools Announce Delays And Closings For Monday

Several school systems in North Alabama have announced their plans for Monday morning in the aftermath of the recent winter storm that swept through the region.

Several schools are starting later on Monday morning.

    • DeKalb County Schools operating on a two-hour delay on Monday
    • Fort Payne City Schools operating on a two-hour delay on Monday
    • Franklin County Schools operating on a two-hour delay on Monday
    • Lauderdale County Schools operating on a two-hour delay on Monday
    • Lawrence County Schools operating on a two-hour delay on Monday
    • Northeast Alabama Community College operating on a two-hour delay on Monday
    • Northwest Shoals Community College will delay opening both campuses until 9:30 a.m. Monday

Schools shut down on Monday.

    • Fayetteville City, Tennessee, Schools closed on Monday
    • Lincoln County, Tennessee, Schools closed on Monday
    • Scottsboro City Schools closed on Monday
