North Harris County Woman Charged with Murder After Allegedly Shooting Husband in Front of Children

A woman from North Harris County in Texas is facing murder charges  for allegedly shooting and killing her husband on Saturday night.

A woman is currently in custody after she shot and killed her husband, according to the HCSO.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office reported that the incident occurred on Lone Oak near Shady Lane just before 11 p.m. on Saturday.

According to court documents, Zamora-Martinez’s children were present at the scene and witnessed their mother holding a firearm close to their father’s body after hearing two gunshots.

Solis Zamora is currently incarcerated, and her bail is set at $100,000. Her next court appearance is slated for October 29th.

Crime scene investigators were spotted analyzing a compact SUV close to the site of the shooting. However, there is no information currently available about a potential motive.
