The New York City Police Department is asking the public for help identifying two suspects in a robbery that occurred last Saturday near 202 Flatbush Avenue, according to the NYPD 78th Precinct. According to a Facebook post from NYPD Crimestoppers, the suspects approached the victims, two 14-year-old guys, and pretended to have a pistol before violently demanding their possessions.

As the search continues, authorities are urging those with any relevant information to come forward and assist in the investigation; those with tips can call 800-577-TIPS to potentially aid in capturing the individuals responsible for this crime, and a reward of up to $3,500 has been offered for information that leads to an arrest, reinforcing the call for community involvement in bringing the perpetrators to justice.

The incident’s specifics are still emerging, and the NYPD Crimestoppers’ appeal emphasizes the importance of collaborative crime-solving efforts between law enforcement and the community.
