As temperatures soared over the weekend, New York City was rattled by a wave of gunfire on Saturday night. The sound of shots echoed through the city, causing panic among local residents.

As the night descended, the NYPD reported that four different shootings resulted in six individuals being hit by bullets, with two of the victims tragically losing their lives.

At 10:30 p.m., a home in South Richmond Hill, Queens, was rocked by the most deadly explosion.

According to authorities, a 52-year-old woman was discovered at a residence on 95th Street and 11th Avenue, suffering from a gunshot wound. Additionally, a 27-year-old man was found with multiple gunshot wounds to his torso.

An 11-year-old boy, deemed “very dangerous” by authorities, was apprehended by the police following a violent crime spree that involved burglary and shooting. This incident has caused concern regarding the young age of the perpetrator and the severity of his actions.

The chaotic night, however, started several hours before in East Flatbush.

According to authorities, a residence was the site of a shooting incident where a 15-year-old boy sustained a gunshot wound in his left arm at approximately 5:30 p.m.

They were transported to nearby medical facilities and their conditions were reported to be stable.

Police reported that a teenager sustained gunshot wounds to his left elbow at the intersection of West 135th Street and Lenox Avenue in Harlem, a little before 7:30 p.m.

A male person of interest has been detained in connection with the incident, which left the 19-year-old victim in stable condition. This was the only arrest made that night.

Investigations are still ongoing for all four shootings.
