A group of students from Ohio have recently earned the opportunity to participate in the biggest rodeo event in the world.

Ella Binkiewicz, Christian Dimmerling, Mya Dimmerling, Owen Gardner, Jaelee Winkleman, and Jarica Winkleman are set to compete at the 76th annual National High School Finals Rodeo (NHSFR) in Rock Springs, Wyoming. This exciting event is scheduled to take place from July 14th to 20th. The Noble Local Schools proudly announced the participation of these talented students in this prestigious rodeo competition.

More than 1,700 contestants from 44 different states, including five Canadian provinces, Australia, Mexico, and New Zealand, participate in the world’s biggest rodeo.

The prizes and added money for the competition exceed $150,000 and $200,000, respectively. Additionally, participants in NHSFR will have the opportunity to win over $375,000 in college scholarships and earn the title of NHSFR World Champion.

In order to become the World Champion, participants are required to secure a spot in the top 20 after their performance in the first two rounds. The combined times or scores of these rounds will determine who advances to the final round on Saturday evening. The ultimate World Champion will be decided based on their overall combined times or scores from all three rounds.

You can catch all the live NHSFR performances by tuning in to the online broadcast available here.

The competition is set to kick off on July 14th at 7pm sharp. From then on, every day, the competition will commence at 9am and then again at 7pm until July 20th.
