A woman from Pascagoula was recently apprehended and accused of committing felony embezzlement.
Moss Point Police Department announced in a press release that they apprehended Cathrinna Walley, who is forty-seven years old, on December 27th, 2024.
Between July 2021 and November 2024, Walley, who had been serving as the treasurer for the Moss Point Alumni Association, is suspected of embezzling around $60,000.
The investigation regarding this case is still ongoing.
