According to the Delaware County District Attorney, Steven Caiati, 47, of Starlight, Pennsylvania, pleaded guilty to one count of tampering with physical evidence and one count of driving while impaired by drugs.
According to the office, Caiati admitted to driving on a public roadway while under the influence of methamphetamine. He also attempted to conceal his stash of methamphetamine when he was pulled over.
Caiati will be compelled to pay a $1,270 fine and have his driver’s license suspended for six months. He was also sentenced to time served (about 90 days) and extradited to Pennsylvania.
