According to the Flagstaff Police Department, Kelly Paduchowski, aged 45, was reported missing on Sunday night. She had left for a run and swim at Campbell Mesa Trail around 1:30 p.m. on Sunday.

Amid a frantic search for a missing woman who disappeared after going for a run and a swim, her husband has been taken into custody on charges of assault.

According to the Flagstaff Police Department, 45-year-old Kelly Paduchowski went missing on Sunday evening after leaving for a run and swim at Campbell Mesa Trail around 1:30 PM. Her husband, Daniel Paduchowski, 58, was arrested on charges of aggravated assault after the police released a timeline of events leading up to her disappearance, as reported by the Arizona Daily Sun.

According to the police, Kelly Paduchowski’s cellphone data indicates that it was in the vicinity of Schultz Creek Trail at approximately 10:20 a.m. on Sunday. At around 11:30 a.m. that same day, Daniel was reportedly seen in the same area. Later at 12:13 p.m., Kelly’s phone returned to their residence in the Coconino Estates neighborhood.

Around 1:30 p.m., Kelly arrived at the Campbell Mesa trailhead in her white Mazda CX-5, accompanied by Daniel, who was also spotted in photos taken at the trailhead. The Coconino County Sheriff’s Office initiated a search and rescue mission at the trailhead on Monday, setting up a command center.

As the search for Kelly continues, the police are also seeking doorbell camera footage from the surrounding neighborhood. A post on Nextdoor confirmed this request. Sgt. Jerry Rintala, the Public Information Officer for the Flagstaff Police Department, stated that the search and rescue operation at the Campbell Mesa trailhead is ongoing. The community is still encouraged to offer their assistance in locating Kelly.

Police have stated that their top priority is to locate Kelly and the investigation is currently ongoing.

Authorities are seeking information about Kelly Paduchowski, who has blonde hair, blue eyes, stands at around 5-foot-8, and weighs approximately 138 pounds. She was last seen wearing black shorts, a gray shirt, and running shoes. If you have any information, please contact Flagstaff police at 928-774-1414.

If you had any interaction with Daniel Paduchowski, Kelly Paduchowski, or their vehicles on June 30th, the Flagstaff Police Department (FPD) is urging you to come forward with any additional information. To report any details, you can reach out to the department directly at (928) 774-1414 or contact Silent Witness at (928) 774-6111. FPD is still investigating the case and any information could be helpful in the investigation.
