The Colorado Springs community still seeks answers 38 years after a baby was reported missing.

In the middle of the night on July 15, 1986, Christopher Abeyta, who was only 7 months old, was last seen in his crib located in the 3300 block of Ashwood Circle. Unfortunately, the case remains cold, and no suspects have been identified.

Denise Alves, Christopher’s sister, stated in 2018 that their search for him will not cease. She emphasized their unwavering commitment to finding answers, which they have upheld for thirty years.

If you have any information regarding the matter, please contact 719-444-7000. Additionally, you can reach out to 1-800-The-Lost.
