Power Outages Reported in Elmore and Autauga County in Alabama

As of now, central Alabama is experiencing power outages affecting approximately 8,300 Alabama Power customers. Thankfully, power has already been restored to over 1,500 customers who were affected by the severe weather overnight. Across the entire state, there are about 27,000 customers currently without power.

The areas experiencing outages are as follows:

Lee County has reported that a total of 3,800 customers have been affected by the recent outage.

In Montgomery County, there are currently 2100 customers.

Lowndes County has a total of 1,100 customers.

Chilton County: 400 customers

In Dallas County, there are a total of 290 customers.

In Tallapoosa County, there are currently 210 customers.

Perry County: 150 customers

Wilcox County has a total of 140 customers.

There are also fewer, but widely scattered outages in Butler, Bullock, Elmore, and Autauga Counties.

The crew is diligently working to restore service in the safest and most efficient manner possible.
