Teenage patients of Northeast Ohio’s hospitals who are unable to attend their high school’s prom due to illness were recently treated to an enchanted prom. The event was held in Cleveland and was aimed at bringing a magical experience to these young individuals who are going through a tough time. It was a heartwarming and memorable occasion that allowed them to enjoy a prom-like celebration despite being in the hospital.

Over the weekend, more than 100 teenage patients from Cleveland Clinic Children’s, UH Rainbow Babies, and Akron Children’s hospitals had the opportunity to attend the Enchanted Evening Dunkin’ Oncology Prom.

The Aviator Cleveland hosted the event, which offered teenagers a night of dancing, delicious desserts, and the chance to make their own flower crowns.

Special appearances were made by various personalities, including the Cleveland Cavaliers Dance Team and Mascot Sir C.C., Mrs. Northern Ohio, and the Cleveland Clinic’s Children’s facility dogs, Kid and Trotter.

The Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation’s Dunkin’ Prom arranged the event and granted funds to hospitals for hosting the celebration.
