Shooting at Christmas party in southwest Houston leaves teenager with gunshot wound to the head

During the party, someone fell ill and the Houston Fire Department was summoned to the location. As the HFD was en route, the teenager was discovered.

The incident took place at a residential building on Burdine Street, right before 10 p.m.

According to the police, the victim had been attending and leaving the party multiple times throughout the night.

During the party, someone fell ill and the Houston Fire Department was called for assistance. As the HFD was on their way to the scene, they discovered the teenager.

Despite their efforts to provide assistance, he was declared deceased at the location.

The scene was attended by homicide investigators, who have now initiated an ongoing investigation.

The victim’s identity has not been released by HPD.

The authorities have not released any information regarding a suspect or a possible motive for the incident.
