Days before the 67th annual Puerto Rican Day Parade in New York City, Goya Foods made a generous donation of 10,000 pounds of food to St. Cecilia Church Food Pantry in East Harlem on Wednesday.

Families and individuals who require assistance will receive the donation. It will be distributed to those who are in need of it.

One of the key sponsors of the Puerto Rican Day Parade is Goya, the biggest Hispanic-owned food company in the US.

On June 9th, Sunday, the parade will make its way down Manhattan’s Fifth Avenue.

The National Puerto Rican Day Parade has found a proud broadcast partner in Channel 7.

David Novarro, together with Joe Torres and Sunny Hostin, will be hosting the event while Sonia Rincon will be reporting along the parade route.

As a part of its #GoyaGives global initiative, Goya has made a generous donation with the aim to alleviate the burden of families suffering from food insecurity.
