A 24-year-old man from Sugar Land, identified as Trevor Tedore, was arrested in League City on Tuesday, charged with aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury.
The Galveston County District Attorney’s Office set his bond at $200,000.
The victim was discovered along Seawall Boulevard near 31st Street at approximately 1:15 a.m. Monday, exhibiting signs of severe beating with injuries to his head and face. He was hospitalized in critical condition.
Investigators indicated that both Tedore and the victim were linemen involved in power restoration efforts in Galveston, lodging at a nearby hotel. The victim’s identity has not been disclosed.
