A 17-year-old named Cristian Gasca Martinez has been arrested and charged with the murder of 37-year-old Osvaldo Casas, which occurred on August 10. According to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Martinez was charged in Houston on October 17.
Judith Molina, the mother of the girl, expressed her disappointment with the fact that her daughter did not want to date him.
Blanca Aguirre, Casas’ mother, shared with KHOU that he passed away while she held him in her arms.
After Casas’ death, the family initiated a GoFundMe campaign to assist with the financial burdens.
According to his wife, Osvaldo was a man known for his immense love and compassion. He was highly regarded and admired by numerous individuals in our community, who greatly appreciated his willingness to offer assistance whenever it was needed.
Their son was born on August 23, a mere 13 days after Casas’ passing, as she pointed out.
Martinez has been arrested and is currently being held in the Harris County Jail on a bond of $200,000. His first court appearance was scheduled for Monday, October 21.
