Investigators have identified the person who was shot and killed in Toledo early Sunday morning.
Eric Wright was fatally shot, according to police, and his death was ruled a homicide.
Officers at the scene told 13 Action News that they were dispatched to Mulberry Street about 4:30 a.m. on June 15 for a ShotSpotter Alert. When they arrived, they found Wright lying in an alley with at least one gunshot wound. He died at the spot.
Investigators have yet to identify any suspects in the incident. The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information should text or contact Crime Stoppers at 419-255-1111.
