The Picayune Police Department reported that Tevin Turner, who was wanted for armed robbery, has been apprehended by the U.S. Marshals Service in Independence, Louisiana due to an outstanding warrant.

In a Facebook post, the Picayune Police Department shared the news of Tevin Turner’s arrest for armed robbery. According to the post, the U.S. Marshals Service located Turner in Independence, LA. The department expressed their gratitude towards all the agencies involved in the operation, but especially towards citizens who provided crucial tips leading to Turner’s arrest. The post emphasized the fact that without the support of the public, the department couldn’t have achieved this outcome.

According to Police Chief Joe Quave, evading law enforcement is not a viable option as he boldly stated, “You can run, but you can’t hide.”

After receiving valuable information from citizens and collaborating with several law enforcement agencies, Turner’s arrest marks the end of the search for the suspect.
