A popular retail chain in the Kansas City area has been targeted by a woman who is now facing accusations of shoplifting. According to reports, the woman has stolen thousands of dollars worth of merchandise from the store.

Ariana Milan, who is 20 years old, has been charged by prosecutors with two counts of theft.

According to a probable cause statement, Milan and a female accomplice entered the Bath and Body Works store located at Zona Rosa on January 31. The statement further alleges that the two women were captured on security footage filling bags and baskets with items. It is claimed that they left the store without paying for over $1,700 worth of merchandise.

As per the court documents, detectives suspect that Milan and another person have stolen hundreds of dollars’ worth of products from a Bath and Body Works store in Northland on previous occasions.

The two women have been accused of shoplifting from the Bath and Body Works store situated near Northwest Barry Road and U.S. 169, in addition to the Zona Rosa case. It is believed that both incidents occurred on the same day.

According to the likely case statement, Milan, along with another woman, was accused of shoplifting from two Bath and Body Works stores, again, less than a month later on February 8. The statement indicates that the two women allegedly stole merchandise worth over $1,100 from the Zona Rosa store.
