A mass shooting in Chicago’s North Lawndale neighborhood has left five people injured. The incident occurred recently, and the motive behind the attack is not yet known. The authorities are investigating the matter to gather more information. The injured victims have been taken to nearby hospitals for treatment. The incident has left the community in shock and disbelief. The safety of the residents in the area is a growing concern, and the authorities are taking necessary measures to ensure their protection.

In the wee hours of the night, a cluster of individuals had congregated on the street and pavement, located in the 1300 block of South Lawndale Avenue, as per the authorities. It was at this moment when a silver sedan drew close and gunshots were discharged.

Mt. Sinai Hospital received a critical patient, a 25-year-old woman who was shot in the chest. Her condition is currently being closely monitored.

The hospital reported that a 22-year-old individual sustained a gunshot wound to the back of their head. Fortunately, they were brought to the hospital and are currently in good condition. Additionally, two males, aged 26 and 62, were both shot in their left thigh and are also listed in good condition.

The young man, who is 21 years old, sustained a gunshot wound in his thigh but declined any medical assistance.

The shooter is being hunted by the police, but they have not made any arrests yet.
