The Texas Department of Public Safety announced that Geovany Saul Carcamo, a Guatemalan national, has been added to the Texas 10 Most Wanted Criminal Illegal Immigrants List. They are offering a cash reward of up to $3,000 for any information that can lead to his arrest.

Carcamo, a 27-year-old Guatemalan national, has been sought by Grayson County authorities since December 3, 2024, in connection with the aggravated sexual assault of a child. He had previously been deported from the United States in 2022 for illegal entry and is suspected to have fled from Sherman to Houston.

Carcamo stands at 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs approximately 160 pounds. For additional details on him or any updates regarding his arrest, please refer to the DPS website.

Texas Crime Stoppers, which is supported by the Governor’s Public Safety Office, provides monetary rewards to individuals who provide information that leads to the apprehension of individuals on the Texas 10 Most Wanted lists. As of 2024, the department reported that they have successfully arrested 45 fugitives, including 16 sex offenders and 10 gang members, thanks to tips provided by the public. A total of $32,000 in rewards has been paid out for these valuable leads.

In order to qualify for cash rewards, individuals must submit tips through the Crime Stoppers hotline, the DPS website, or the Facebook tip link. It is important to note that all tips are completely anonymous, as tipsters are assigned a unique tip number instead of using their names.

DPS investigators work together with local law enforcement to choose the fugitives who will be featured on the Texas 10 Most Wanted lists. You can find the current lists, along with their photos, on the DPS website. It is important to note that the department strongly advises against trying to apprehend these fugitives on your own, as they are considered to be armed and dangerous.
