The Pearl River County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit, Criminal Investigation Division, and Patrol Division collaborated to apprehend four individuals during a narcotics operation.

A white Chevy pick-up truck was pulled over at the intersection of Hwy 43 and Old Crossroads East by the Pearl River County Sheriff’s Office. The reason for the traffic stop was a violation committed by the driver.

During the search of the vehicle, law enforcement officers discovered that the driver, Charles Keith Blalock, was in possession of a significant quantity of buprenorphine. It is important to note that buprenorphine is a controlled substance that is typically prescribed to individuals who are struggling with opioid addiction.

Blalock, who is 54 years old, was apprehended and transported to the Pearl River County Criminal Justice Facility after his arrest. His charges include possession with the intent to distribute a controlled substance.

During the investigation, authorities decided to conduct a traffic stop on a blue Ford pick-up truck, which was an older model. The incident took place at the intersection of Mitchell Chapel Rd. and Hwy 26. As the investigators approached the vehicle, the driver reversed the truck down Mitchell Chapel Rd. and ended up driving into a nearby residence.

The authorities have identified the driver as Tristan Wheat, who is twenty-eight years old. Upon inspection, it was discovered that he had methamphetamine and a firearm in his possession. Consequently, he was apprehended and taken to the Pearl River County Criminal Justice Facility. He now faces charges for possessing a controlled substance while having a firearm. Additionally, he was cited for careless driving and driving without insurance.

A traffic stop was initiated on a black SUV near the scale house on Highway 26 due to careless driving. The driver, identified as Dominque Hendershot, who is twenty-seven years old, was found to be driving without a valid driver’s license.

During the search of Hendershot’s vehicle, law enforcement discovered methamphetamine in his possession. As a result, Hendershot was promptly arrested and transported to the Pearl River County Criminal Justice Facility. In addition to the drug charges, he also received citations for alleged careless driving, driving without a valid driver’s license, and driving without insurance.

Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a gold SUV at the intersection of Old Crossroads West and Hwy 43 due to careless driving.

Robert Breland, aged 42, was identified as the driver. Upon conducting a probable cause search of the vehicle, authorities allegedly discovered a significant quantity of methamphetamine, indicating potential drug trafficking involvement.

Breland faced multiple charges after being caught trafficking methamphetamine. He was taken to the Pearl River County Criminal Justice Facility and officially booked. In addition to the drug trafficking charge, Breland was also charged with DUI, careless driving, driving on a suspended license, and possession of paraphernalia.
