A 54-year-old doctor from Michigan has been charged in relation to an incident of indecent exposure involving a 76-year-old woman he had connected with online, according to officials.
According to a statement released by the Macomb County Prosecutor’s Office, Stephen Bruce Mason has been charged with assault and aggravated indecent exposure.
On Thursday, Aug. 1, Mason reportedly chauffeured the victim, whom he had connected with online, back to her place after her hair appointment. Upon reaching her house, she extended an invitation to him to come inside.
While inside the house, Mason allegedly made sexual advances on the woman, but she declined. Mason then allegedly masturbated in front of her.
Mason appeared in Sterling Heights District Court where he was arraigned and granted a $1,000 bond. His probable cause conference is set for Thursday, Aug. 22.
