The Indiana Pacers have completed their roster and filled all three of their two-way contract spots this offseason. Despite this, it appears that the team is still making some moves in preparation for training camp, which is just over a month away.

In a recent interview with Tony East of the “Locked On Pacers” podcast, guard Kyle Mangas revealed that he will be coming back to the Pacers on an Exhibit 10 contract. During his conversation with East, the 25-year-old expressed his enthusiasm about rejoining the team.

“I’ll be rejoining the Pacers on an Exhibit 10 contract,” Mangas announced on the podcast. “I’ll be signing it shortly and I’m eagerly anticipating my return.”

After an impressive four-year stint with the Indiana Wesleyan Wildcats, Mangas unfortunately went undrafted in the 2021 NBA Draft. Despite this setback, the talented basketball player from Indiana continued his professional journey by playing for USK Praha in the Czech National Basketball League and Å iauliai-7bet in the Lithuanian Basketball League for the first two years of his career.

During the previous year, Mangas joined the Pacers in October, but unfortunately, he was released the following day. However, he later signed with the Indiana Mad Ants, the team’s G League affiliate. Throughout the season, Mangas showcased his skills in 34 games, starting in 28 of them. He maintained an impressive average of 17.9 points, 3.1 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 1.2 steals. Notably, he also displayed efficiency, shooting 46.5% from the field and 36.3% from three-point range.

In the most recent occurrence, Mangas showcased his skills in a game for the Los Angeles Lakers during this year’s Summer League. The talented guard managed to score six points on a 2-for-5 shooting, while also grabbing three rebounds, all within a span of 12 minutes on the court.

Kyle Mangas will likely spend next year in the G League

Mangas is said to be joining the team on an Exhibit 10 contract, which means he will serve as an additional player during training camp. However, if the team chooses not to include him on the main roster (which is the most probable scenario), they can opt to keep him in the G League.

In his second year in the pros, Mangas had a successful G League campaign, demonstrating his impressive skill set. The team will closely observe his development and potential growth throughout the season. While it’s unlikely that he will secure a main roster spot this time around, there is a possibility of him joining his hometown team in the future.
