Devon Police demonstrated their proactive approach in addressing reports of criminal activity by seizing suspected class A drugs worth £2,000 from a property.
In response to public concerns regarding suspected drug dealing, officers from Devon and Cornwall Police carried out a warrant at an address in Dawlish in October.
A 49-year-old man has been arrested by the police on suspicion of possession with intent to supply. He is currently on bail while further investigations are being conducted.
According to Insp Sean Roper from the Dawlish neighbourhood police team, taking proactive measures like this sends a strong message that they are attentive to the concerns of the community and will take decisive action against those involved in criminal activities.
The police force’s proactive unit and the Teignmouth neighbourhood police team led the warrant.
