On Sunday, June 30th, the Pee Dee, Grand Strand, and Border Belt regions will experience a heat advisory from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Eastern Time.

On Sunday, June 30th, a Heat Advisory has been put in place from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. for counties in Peach, which include the Pee Dee, Border Belt, and Grand Strand. It is important to practice heat safety precautions during this time.

The air temperatures are anticipated to reach the 90s across all areas, leading to heat index values up to 109 degrees Fahrenheit.

On Sunday, June 30th, most of the Palmetto State and eastern North Carolina will face a significant risk of heat. It is essential to take precautions for your safety on this day.

Across much of South Carolina and eastern North Carolina, the heat risk has reached the Major category, with a few areas experiencing Extreme heat risk in eastern North Carolina.
