The seizure occurred during a traffic check on I-10 East around mile marker 832 at around 7:30 a.m. on Thursday. According to investigators, the driver, 43-year-old Kedra Parker of Florida, violated traffic laws while driving a 15-passenger van towing a U-Haul trailer.

A search discovered 12 black and yellow totes carrying approximately 1276 pounds of cocaine. Police confiscated the drugs, arrested Parker, and initiated an inquiry to determine the extent of their involvement in the drug investigation, resulting in one of the largest seizures in Southeast Texas’ history.
