A Kansas City teenager has been charged with multiple felonies after an armed robbery at a convenience store.

Jeremiah Rittenhouse, 19, is accused of threatening a petrol station employee in Kansas City, Missouri, with a revolver. According to court documents filed in Jackson County, Rittenhouse informed an employee, “I am going to need all of your money,” after an altercation at a petrol station on April 22, 2025.

According to court documents, Rittenhouse held a black handgun in his belt when the demand was made. The incident occurred shortly after the store opened at 4:30 a.m., prompting police to summon them to the location.

He has been charged with first-degree robbery and armed criminal action, both of which are felonies in Missouri.

According to court documents, the victim gave Rittenhouse the money from the cash register, which amounted to around $97.

Police nabbed Rittenhouse on Wednesday. He’s being held at the Jackson County Detention Center on a $50,000 bond.
