COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – A head-on crash on Marksheffel Road early Sunday afternoon left one person dead.
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the crash occurred around 1:45 p.m. when a car struck a concrete guardrail, overcorrected, and collided head-on with another vehicle.
Four people, including two children, were transported to a local hospital. One person was pronounced dead, according to a press release. Troopers have not yet identified any of the victims.
