Police arrest man with backpack of drugs and loaded gun in north Houston

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – A suspected drug dealer was arrested in Harris County, according to the Harris County Constables Office Precinct 4.

Deputies responded to a call on Saturday regarding a suspicious person selling drugs and carrying a gun near North Sam Houston Parkway and Antoine Drive in North Houston.

Upon arrival, deputies located a man who matched the description. He was identified as 31-year-old Fabian Middleton.

During the investigation, Middleton was found with a backpack containing a loaded handgun, 100 grams of cocaine, nearly five ounces of marijuana, and almost 2,000 grams of Promethazine.

He was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail. Middleton faces charges of possession with intent to deliver, felon in possession of a firearm, and possession of marijuana.

His bond has been set at $68,000.
