Police: Woman and 1-year-old child found dead in Northwest DC apartment

Police in Washington, D.C. are still searching for answers following the discovery of the lifeless bodies of a woman and child in an apartment located in the 5400 block of Connecticut Avenue in Northwest D.C.

Woman and child found dead in D.C. apartment

Based on the information available, here’s what we know:

38-year-old Ebony Washington and her 1-year-old daughter, Kemy Washington, both from Northwest, D.C., have been identified as the victims.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for the District of Columbia is currently conducting an autopsy to determine the cause of death.

Both individuals were declared deceased at the location.

There is still a lot that remains unknown to us:

The authorities are currently unable to identify any potential suspects at this time.

The police are treating this case as a death investigation and are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward and contact them.
