The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) is seeking assistance from the public to locate a fugitive who managed to swim back to Mexico during a pursuit.
The incident took place on Saturday, January 18, around 3 p.m. along IH 35 near Mile Marker 8, and it came to a halt near the outlet mall.
The suspect, a Hispanic male in his 20s, was behind the wheel of a red Cadillac passenger car. Officials from the Department of Public Safety (DPS) have described the suspect as having tattoos on both arms and his right leg, as well as a medium skin complexion.
