A Texas man who was the subject of a Silver Alert was reportedly discovered dead.

According to Choctaw County Sheriff Terry Park, Richard Pivonka, 70, of Sachse, was discovered dead in rural McCurtain County, and his truck was later spottedĀ from the air over the weekend.

Pivonka was reported missing from Collin County in late May, prompting the posting of a Silver Alert.

A family friend told News 12 that officials had pinged Pivonka’s phone in Hugo.

His cause of death was not revealed, although the Sachse Police Department saidĀ foul play is not suspected.
