A tragic incident occurred in Trinity County, Texas, where a man lost his life after falling from a cellphone tower, as reported by Trinity County Sheriff Woody Wallace.
The Trinity County Sheriff’s Office was alerted by MasTec Network Solutions to perform a welfare check at a tower located at 7587 State Highway 94 around 7:15 a.m. The reason for the check was that one of MasTec’s employees did not return home the previous evening, and the tower was his last known assigned post.
Upon arriving at the scene, the deputies discovered that the man had tragically passed away. The initial investigation indicates that the man had been scaling the tower and seemingly met his demise when he fell onto a platform suspended approximately eight feet above the ground, as stated in the official release.
The authorities are currently investigating the incident and no additional information is being disclosed at this moment.
