When Bryan police receive complaints from the neighborhood, undercover agents are sent out to purchase cocaine and crack cocaine and monitor drug sales.
Six males and two women were arrested in August and September, according to arrest reports that were made public last weekend.
Drug purchases were made from six street level vendors at different locations, according to BPD arrest reports. Additionally, unlawful sales of PCP and hydrocodone were discovered by undercover surveillance.
Bryan resident 75-year-old Curtis James Hall was accused of four counts of manufacturing and delivering a controlled drug. November 1st, September 7th, October 2023, and July 2022 were the dates of the incidents. In addition, Hall was charged with misdemeanor marijuana possession in October 2023 and possession of a controlled drug on November 1st. After paying $137,000 in bonds, Hall—who had been in jail for the 27th time since January 1990—was released.
Christopher Leon Hill, 51, of Bryan was charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana and public intoxication on October 25th, manufacture/delivery of a prohibited substance on August 13th and 14th, and possession of a controlled substance on September 1st. According to online records, this is Hill’s 65th visit to the Brazos County jail since November 2001. As of November 5th, he is still being held in lieu of $55,000 in bonds.
Quentin McMiller, 37, of Bryan was arrested on November 1st for manufacturing and delivering a controlled drug. As of November 5th, McMiller, who has been in jail for 25 times since April 2005, is still being held pending payment of a $15,000 bond.
On September 5th, Bryan resident Preston Wiggins IV, age 26, was charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana and manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance. Additionally, according to online jail records, bond was obtained in five pending trials for offenses that occurred in 2023—four involving narcotics accusations and one involving avoiding arrest. As of November 5th, Wiggins, who has been in jail for 20 times since October 2016, is still being detained in lieu of $75,000 in bail.
During the November 1st search of the residence Perry shared with McMiller, Bobby Perry II, age 33, of Bryan, was charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance, and manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance. After posting $21,000 in bail, Perry—who had been in jail for the 19th time since July 2010—was freed.
In August, Rolando Taylor, 46, of Bryan, was accused of selling crack cocaine covertly. He was also charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana, illegal carrying of a gun within a bar, and manufacturing and delivering crack cocaine when he was apprehended on November 1. After posting $55,000 in bail, Taylor was allowed to leave the jail.
Twanda Mosley, a 56-year-old Bryan resident, was accused with manufacturing and delivering a controlled substance in a drug-free area on August 7 and August 9 as well as manufacturing and delivering a controlled substance on August 13 and September 5. As of November 5th, she is still being held in jail on $40,000 in bond.
On September 18, Anteria Jackson, 28, of Bryan, was charged with possession of a controlled narcotic, tampering with evidence, and obtaining warrants for DWI and evidence tampering. As of November 5th, Jackson, who has been in jail for 14 times since February 2014, is still being detained in lieu of $48,000 in bonds. Bond has not been placed on a move to revoke probation due to a March 2021 conviction for evidence tampering.
