A woman was taken into custody on Christmas Day after reportedly hurling rocks from a bridge onto vehicles moving along I-35 in Oklahoma City.

The incident took place around 12:35 p.m.

The Oklahoma City Police Department (OKCPD) was notified of a woman spotted walking southbound onto the on-ramp of I-35 from SE 29th Street.

Amber Davis, the woman in question, allegedly hurled an object from the bridge, targeting a car that was heading northbound.

According to the driver, he spotted Davis on the bridge above just moments before his windshield was hit by an object.

Shards of glass were sent into his car as his windshield cracked.

According to a witness, they observed a woman who resembled Davis, throwing objects that seemed to be rocks from the bridge.

Davis was taken to the Oklahoma County Detention Center.
