A Pennsylvania man is facing a felony charge after police say he killed his girlfriend’s puppy during a domestic dispute.
According to a Facebook post by Aliquippa police, Brandon Miller, 24, threw a 10-month-old pitbull named “Ace” down a flight of stairs during an argument with his girlfriend on March 7 at her Aliquippa residence.
Ace was brought to a veterinary hospital but was confirmed dead upon arrival.
Miller was arrested Monday in Chippewa Township and charged with aggravated animal abuse and neglect.
According to online court documents, Miller was unable to post a $35,000 bond and was ordered kept at the Beaver County Jail.
Miller has a preliminary hearing planned for March 27.
