A dementia patient who had gone missing almost three weeks ago was discovered dead on the side of the road on Monday, according to his relatives.
Jose Luis Martinez disappeared on April 7 while being cared for at Heavenly Hands Adult Day Center.
His daughter, Nelida Acevado, has been seeking him since he went missing. “Is he here?” He was nowhere to be located. When she stepped inside the day facility, she said, “If he’s not here and you don’t know where he is, I need to start looking for him right now.”
Martinez was discovered deceased on the side of Nakoma Road on April 28.
