In a remarkable display of bravery, the Oklahoma City police department has shared a captivating video capturing the heroic rescue of a man who was on the brink of falling from a bridge.
On November 10th, a man sleeping on a bridge in Oklahoma City prompted a call to the police. Officer Reyes, upon approaching the man, captured the moment on his body camera as the individual began to roll towards the water below.
Reyes acted swiftly, reaching out to grab the man’s hoodie and then his arm as he stumbled.
A runner passing by swiftly came forward and offered assistance to the officer, joining forces to successfully rescue the man.
After the medical team assessed the man and confirmed that he had not sustained any injuries, Reyes kindly offered him a ride back to his family.
According to police, the man fell asleep, and fortunately, his rescuers happened to be in the vicinity.
