Dylan Michael Carroll, a fugitive who was on Texas’ 10 Most Wanted list, was captured in San Angelo on February 13, 2025.
The Texas Department of Public Safety Special Agents, Texas Highway Patrol, Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office, and San Angelo Police Department worked together to make the arrest.
Carroll, a 26-year-old from the Carolinas, has been wanted since November 2024 for aggravated assault resulting in serious bodily injury, according to a news statement from the Texas Department of Public Safety. He also had a probation violation warrant in South Carolina.
Carroll’s criminal record includes convictions for larceny of a firearm and burglary in the Carolinas, as well as an attack on a family or household member by restricting breath or circulation in Tom Green County in September 2024. Before Carroll was apprehended, authorities warned that he was armed and dangerous.
